Most Common Problems & Solutions

• Coffee maker will not turn on: Check power cord connection; reset by unplugging for 1 minute.
• Does not brew / Water not flowing: Descale the machine; ensure water reservoir is properly seated.
• Coffee is weak: Use more coffee grounds (1-2 tbsp per cup); clean the brew basket and showerhead.
• Leaking from bottom: Check for cracks in carafe; clean valve under brew basket; descale regularly.
• Clock / Timer not working: Power outage may have reset settings; reprogram clock and brew timer.
• Overflowing or spilling: Do not exceed maximum water line; ensure carafe is correctly placed.

Programmable & Grind & Brew Models

• Grinder not working: Clean grinder chamber; ensure beans are not too oily; check burrs for blockage.
• Auto brew not starting: Verify clock is set correctly and brew time is programmed.
• Grinds in coffee: Clean permanent filter or replace paper filter.

Descaling & Cleaning

• Descaling: Use white vinegar (50/50 with water) or descaling solution. Run 2–3 full cycles every 1–3 months depending on water hardness.
• Slow brewing or weak flow: Heavy mineral buildup — repeat descaling process.

Safety note: Always unplug the coffee maker before cleaning. Never immerse the base unit in water. Allow the unit to cool completely before handling hot parts.
